Four-star Class of 2025 point guard Jalen Reece cut his list of colleges down to seven, including the Cincinnati Bearcats.
Dayton, LSU, Ohio State, Penn State, Providence, and USF also made the list, according to Joe Tipton.
On3 ranks the rising senior as the No. 67 overall prospect in the Class of 2025, as well as the 11th-best point guard.
In an interview with On3, Reece talked about Cincinnati and said, “It was a great visit. It’s always good to be home — I have family there. I’m close with Jizzle James, so he told me a lot about the place.”
“Just knowing that’s a place I could be, going back home, it would be cool,” he added. “I was born in Orlando, but I’ve spent a lot of time in Cincinnati. My family is from there.
The 5-foot-10 guard has official visits set up with LSU and Penn State but also plans to schedule vists with the other schools listed.
Cincinnati finished its first season competing in the Big 12 Conference last season and finished 22-15. The team was led by sophomore guard Dan Skillings Jr., who averaged 12.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per game in 2023-24. Guard Day Day Thomas led the team in assists with 3.3.
