Look: Elite 2025 Four-Star TE Decommits from Big 12 Program

Things just continue to trend downward for the Cincinnati Bearcats after their disappointing loss to Pitt last weekend.

After giving up a 27-6 lead to the Panthers last week, Cincinnati fans are eager to get the bad taste out of their mouth and exact revenge on Miami (OH) in Saturday’s Victory Bell matchup, but it had to get worse before it can potentially get better in the Queen City.

According to a report from On3’s Hayes Fawcett, the Bearcats have lost a commitment from 2025 four-star tight end Mikkel Skinner.

Listed at 6-foot-4, 220 pounds, Skinner is ranked as the No. 20 TE in the class and just outside the top 350 prospects nationally. This report comes just over two weeks after On3’s Steve Wiltfong logged a prediction for Skinner to flip his commitment to Kentucky after a recent visit.

To make matters worse, Skinner was Cincinnati’s top-rated commit in the 2025 class and has been pledged to the program since June 9.

With his decommitment, Cincy is down to just one four-star commitment for the ’25 class (CB Jahmari DeLoatch) and ranks 62nd nationally according to 247Sports.
