Class of 2025 five-star prospect Dee Alexander committed to the Cincinnati Bearcats back in April and became the highest-ranked recruit of any sport in school history, according to 247Sports.

On Thursday, On3’s Talia Goodman ranked her top 10 women’s high school basketball prospects in the Class of 2025, and the future Bearcat came in at No. 9 on the list.

The rising senior will finish her high school career with Purcell Marian High School in Cincinnati, Ohio and won Ms. Basketball Ohio for the second time during her junior season.

Alexander chose Cincinnati over several other Power Five programs such as UConn, Iowa, Tennessee, USC, and LSU. ESPN ranked her as the No. 6 overall prospect in the 2025 cycle.

The only other players on this list who have committed are UCLA’s Sienna Betts (No. 3) and Stanford’s Hailee Swain (No. 10).

The shooting guard will look to change the trajectory of the program in 2025-26 after Cincinnati struggled during its first season competing in the Big 12, finishing 14-18.

Despite the team’s struggles, senior forward Jillian Hayes had a strong season in 2023-24, as she led the team in points (12.9 PPG), rebounds (8.4), and steals (2.2) per game.
