The Oklahoma State Cowboys host the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday in Stillwater, and when the Pokes line up, they may recognize a familiar face.
Arkansas defensive back Marquise Robinson is a new player who transferred in from South Alabama, the team who shocked Oklahoma State 33-7 last year in Stillwater. So Robinson knows a thing or two about beating the Cowboys, and made it clear he thinks he can go to Stillwater and do it again with his new team.
During his press conference this week, Robinson praised his own defensive back room for listening to him when watching OSU game film, saying, “The one thing I like about the DB group here, everybody is listening. Everybody’s got their own characteristic. So they really stand out to me, for sure.”
He then went on to say, “I feel like when we go back this time, there’s gonna be a domination.”
When asked about playing the Cowboys again, he responded, “Oh this is two years in a row. So let’s do it then, I gotta go back in there. So, let’s go.”
Arkansas leads the all-time series over Oklahoma State 30-15-1. The game has been played in either Fayetteville or Little Rock 32 times, while it’s only been played in Stillwater nine times. While OSU last won this game in 1975, the Cowboys are 4-4-1 at home.
The Cowboys opened up as a 7,5-point favorite over the Razorbacks. Kick off in Stillwater is set for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 7th. Oklahoma State will stripe the stadium for this game.
