Ahead of their Week 2 matchup vs. Nebraska, NFL legend Terrell Owens linked up with the Colorado Buffaloes and was seen supporting Coach Prime.

Owens made the trip with the Buffaloes to give Colorado a quick motivational message ahead of their Week 2 game.

Owens is one of many NFL legends who have supported the Buffaloes since Deion Sanders was hired in Boulder. In his playing career, Sanders made a number of friends among opponents and competitors who have jumped on the Coach Prime bandwagon.

During his career, Owens became one of the most decorated receivers in NFL history, with many impressive stats. He recorded 1078 grabs for 15,934 yards and 153 touchdowns in his 14-year NFL career.

Owens’ message comes at a huge time for Colorado as the Buffaloes head on the road to Nebraska. Colorado opened the season with a win over North Dakota State, which helped start the Buffaloes 2024 campaign off right. Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders both had explosive performances, with Sanders tossing 453 yards through the air and Hunter snagging three scores on offense.

Despite the big win over NDSU, Colorado now enters their matchup against Nebraska as the underdogs. The team is currently listed as 7.5-point underdogs on the road.

Saturday’s game between Colorado and Nebraska kicks off at 6:30 p.m. CT.
