While Colorado football sparking national headlines is nothing new in 2024, on Thursday, a new wrinkle at Folsom Field was added into the fold.
According to an emergency report from CU Boulder Police, one individual drove his truck onto Colorado’s football field, which quickly became surrounded by a heavy police presence.
“If you see a large police presence near Folsom Field, it’s because we have been coordinating with CU Boulder Police to arrest a hit-and-run driver who fled the scene of a crash at Foothills Pkwy & Arapahoe & entered the stadium,” one tweet said. “The suspect is now in custody & there’s no threat to the community.”
