One Big 12 Team Hosting Two Top 40 Basketball Prospects

Big 12 Basketball Player.

According to a recent report from On3’s Joe Tipton, one team from the Big 12 Conference is set to host two top 40 players in the Class of 2025 in the days ahead.

That team is Bill Self and the Kansas Jayhawks, who will bring a pair of four-stars to campus for a weekend visit in center Eric Reibe and power forward London Jemison.

Coming out of The Bullis School in the Class of 2025, Eric Reibe is listed as a four-star prospect by the 247Sports index and the nation’s 38th-ranked prospect. The true 7-footer also checks in as the fourth-ranked player at his position and the top-ranked player in the state of Maryland.

Reibe released a cutdown list in July featuring 11 different programs. Kansas was joined on Reibe’s list by UConn, Creighton, Harvard, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio State, Oregon, Stanford, and West Virginia. Following the announcement, the Maryland native scheduled six different visits to Oregon, Kansas, UConn, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Indiana. He had previously visited Creighton on May 5th.

Joining Reibe in Lawrence is 2025 four-star London Jemison, who checks in as that nation’s 37th-ranked player by the 247Sports index. He’s also listed as the 11th-ranked player at his position and the top-ranked player in the state of Connecticut. In addition to the weekend trip to Lawrence, Jemison has scheduled official visits to Vanderbilt, Alabama, Louisville, and Virginia.

While the Jayhawks will still have to beat out some impressive prospects to land both Reibe and Jemison, if there’s one statement that continues to ring true about the Big 12 Conference, it is that Bill Self should never be counted out.
