Arizona State Lands Top 50 OL Prospect Over Big Ten Powerhouses

NCAA Football: Arizona State at Arizona

Arizona State football is off to a surprisingly 3-0 start on the 2025 college football season and it’s already paying nice dividends on the recruiting trail.

The Sun Devils have picked up Manamo’ui Muti, a Top-50 national offensive line prospect and Top 5 2025 recruit in Hawaii. Muti has committed to ASU over Oregon, Washington, UCLA, Arizona and many others.

He’s listed at 6–foot-7, 320 pounds.

Arizona State’s 2025 class is now ranked 40th in the nation and fourth in the Big 12 Conference, according to 247Sports. The TCU Horned Frogs have the top-ranked class in the Big 12, followed by UCF, Baylor and then Arizona State, with West Virginia right behind the Sun Devils.

Muti is now a Top 5 prospect for ASU. Their best prospect is wide receiver Adrian Wilson, the program’s only 4-star recruit from Pflugerville, Texas. AJ Ia, Cory Butler, Muti and Isaiah Iolsefa, another Hawaiian, round out of the Top 5.

Arizona State is 3-0 after beating Texas State on Thursday night on the road, which is the best start for the program since the 2019 season. Arizona State takes the field next Saturday to start Big 12 play on the road against the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
