On Saturday, one Baylor fan lived up to his word and went through with getting a leg tattoo to honor a future Bear.
X user, Sir_KnowsALot_ posted a tweet on July 7th with the caption, “If Taz Williams commits to Baylor, I will live stream myself getting a butt tattoo of the most liked reply.”
One month and ten days later, the user made it happen with Baylor wideout commit Taz Williams Jr. in attendance.
Shortly after his July 7th tweet, Taz Williams Jr. committed to Baylor. To honor his commitment, the Baylor fan got a tattoo of the Tasmanian Devil on his “upper, upper thigh. The four-star wideout announced his commitment to Baylor and joined one of the nation’s best recruiting classes alongside several other four-star prospects.
Coming out of Red Oak High School in the Class of 2025, Williams is listed as a four-star prospect by the 247Sports index and the nation’s 389th-ranked player. He also checks in as the 54th-ranked player at his position and the 54th-ranked player in the state of Texas.
While Baylor has been doing wonders on the recruiting trail since Dave Aranda’s coaching staff launched their “we pay players” shirts, the idea of playing in front of a fanbase willing to get tattooed for you is incredibly compelling.
Baylor kicks off their 2024 season on Saturday, August 31st, vs. the Tarleton State Texas.
