Head coach Kevin Young has NBA experience as he served as an associate head coach for the Phoenix Suns prior to being hired by BYU this offseason.

Not only does Brady bring years of coaching experience, but he played in the G-League, as well as professional leagues in Luxembourg, according to The Deseret.

The Cougars just completed their first season playing in the Big 12, going 23-11 and earning a No. 6 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Former head coach Mark Pope then took the Kentucky job following John Calipari’s move to Arkansas, however Young has still brought in several talents through the transfer portal this offseason.

Mawot Mag (Rutgers), Kobe Keita (Utah), as well as four-star Class of 2024 prospect Kanon Catchings have all signed to play with BYU ahead of the 2024-25 season.

Big 12 Sixth Man of the Year Jaxson Robinson followed Pope to Kentucky after leading the team in scoring with 14.2 points per game in 2023-24.
