Social Media Roasts Missouri Football Coach Ei Drinkwitz Over Viral Guitar Video

Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz went viral on social media Monday night after performing a Creed song on an electric guitar alongside commit Henry Fenuku during a photo shoot.

Plenty of powerful names in the college football world chimed in with their thoughts on the madness, including Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin, via his X account.

Kiffin poked fun at both Drinkwitz and LSU’s Brian Kelly as he referred to a video awhile back that went viral when Kelly did some crazy dance moves with a recruit.

“Just when I thought BK’s couldn’t be beat” Kiffin tweeted as he poked fun at the viral video.

Drinkwitz responded to Kiffin’s tweet, too.

“Bro! No shame n jamming out to some CREED during a photo shoot,” Drinkwitz replied.

The rest of the internet wasn’t about to let Drinkwitz live it down, either, as the masses piled on Mizzou’s fifth-year head coach.

Fenuku is a three-star offensive lineman who committed to the Tigers on June 10 over several powerhouse programs such as Ohio State, Ole Miss, Georgia, USC, and Texas A&M.

Mizzou concluded the 2023 season with an overall record of 11-2 record, placing second in the SEC East, behind only the Georgia Bulldogs.

QB Brady Cook had a stellar junior season, throwing for 3,317 yards, 21 touchdowns, and only six interceptions, and led the Tigers to a bowl victory over Ohio State.

The Tigers will open up the 2024 season as hosts to Murray State on Aug. 29 at 8 p.m.
