Arizona’s first trip to Manhattan, Kansas, to take on 14th-ranked Kansas State is arguably the top matchup in all of college football for Week 3, and it hasn’t failed to live up to the hype so far.
The first quarter ended with teams tied at seven apiece, and the first time that Kansas State touched the football in the second quarter was on a punt return, and Colorado transfer Dylan Edwards put his talents on display for the country to see.
After taking a one-hop on the punt, Edwards made one cut, found some open grass, and turned on the jets for a 71-yard touchdown.
The score gave Kansas State a 14-7 lead and gave Edwards his fourth score of the season. This week, Edwards had nine carries for 97 yards, two scores, three catches for 17 yards, and a receiving touchdown.
We’ll see if he continues to be a game-changer for the home team in this Wildcats’ matchup, but early indications would suggest that he’ll play a role in the outcome of this game.
