2025 four-star quarterback Malik Washington is set to announce his college decision on Friday, June 28th.
The Maryland native is eyeing four programs for his collegiate career and will select Maryland, Syracuse, UCF, or Virginia Tech.
Coming out of Archbishop Spalding High School in the Class of 2025, Washington is listed as a four-star prospect by the 247Sports index and the nation’s 276th-ranked prospect. He also checks in as the 14th-ranked quarterback in his class and the third-ranked player in the state of Maryland.
247Sports’ Director of Scouting, Andrew Ivins, spoke on the Maryland native, saying, “Athletic pocket passer with impressive velocity that has won back-to-back conference titles in Maryland’s highest private classification. By far one of the more dynamic signal callers in the 2025 cycle with his highlight-reel dunks, but wants to air it out and stay on schedule when possible. Utilizes some side arm action and will frequently change arm angles. Likely will need some time to develop and find his bearings, but has the tools to eventually win games at the Power Four level. Success might ultimately hinge on his ability to diagnose coverages and protect the football.”
Should the Knights continue their impressive recruiting hot streak and land Malik Washington, UCF will have added yet another impressive prospect to their 2025 recruiting class.
