The madness of the transfer portal got underway on Tuesday morning as the spring portal window opened up. As reports fly all over the country, one of the best available offensive linemen is setting up visits with potential suitors for the 2024 season.

Arkansas OL Andrew Chamblee has entered the transfer portal and is set to take visits with several programs, and among them two Big 12 programs, Kansas State and Colorado, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

A former four-star recruit, Chamblee spent the last two seasons with the Razorbacks and played in eight games in 2023 playing 405 snaps. A 6-foot-6, 310-pound tackle who was a top-200 recruit out of high school, Chamblee made the All-SEC Freshman Team last season. According to Pro Football Focus, he had a 40.9 pass-blocking grade and a 55.9 run-blocking grade.

Chamblee can’t land in the SEC as per conference rules don’t allow him to transfer within the league, which could give the two Big 12 programs a leg up in the sweepstakes to land Chamblee.

Kansas State is coming off a season where the Wildcats went 9-4 (6-3 in the Big 12), and are looking to get back to the conference championship game, which they won in 2022.

Currently, Kansas State and Utah have the best odds to win the Big 12 in 2024.
