Texas Shows Off High-End Luxury Cars at Official Visit Weekend
While official visit weekends are usually a chance for high school players to get an inside look at the lifestyle of a collegiate athlete, Steve Sarkisian and the Texas Longhorns are taking the meaning of an “official visit” to a whole new level.
The Longhorns hosted multiple top prospects in the Class of 2024 on Friday in an official visit where head football coach Steve Sarkisian rolled out the red carpet for the players, bringing in a group of high-end luxury cars to admire on their way into the team facility.
While many fans in the social media world have chimed in on the topic of showing off fancy cars to entice recruits, Steve Sarkisian’s methods have helped to bring in the nation’s third-ranked class of incoming freshmen.
In the 2023 Class, the Longhorns signed the top-ranked player in the class, five-star quarterback Arch Manning, as well as five-star linebacker Anthony Hill, five-star running back CJ Baxter, five-star wide receiver Johntay Cook II, and a mix of 14 four-star recruits, along with seven three-stars in the class.
The Longhorns currently rank behind only Alabama and Georgia in overall team recruiting, and with Texas showing off different variants of Lamborghini for the incoming freshmen, I expect the future of the Longhorns to be in good hands.
