2025 Five-Star TE Linkon Cure Includes Two Big 12 Teams in Cutdown List
The recruitment of 2025 five-star tight end Linkon Cure is officially down to four, with two Big 12 teams included in the race.
Kansas State has been the front-runner for Cure, receiving crystal balls from multiple national recruiting experts. However, the Kansas Jayhawks, who recently added Cure’s older brother, Leyton, as a walk-on, also earned a spot in the final four.
Coming out of Goodland High School in the Class of 2025, Cure is listed as a five-star prospect by the 247Sports index and the nation’s 26th-ranked prospect. He also checks in as the second-ranked tight end in his class and the second-ranked player in the state of Kansas.
Cure has official visits set to each of his four remaining schools, starting with Kansas on May 31st, Texas A&M on June 7th, Oregon on June 14th, and Kansas State on June 21st.
The native of Goodland, Kansas, has received four crystal balls from members of the 247Sports community, all predicting that the impressive athlete will end up in Manhattan, Kansas. 247Sports’ Tom Loy was the first to place the prediction, followed by On3’s Steve Wiltfong, GoPowercat’s Ryan Wallace, and 247Sports’ Mike Roach.
While Kansas State appears to be in the lead for Cure’s services, they will have to beat out their in-state rival and some impressive programs to seal the deal on the five-star tight end.
