Reginald Davis’ preparation changed last week, because the Texas Tech sophomore was playing a different position than the one he’d played for more than a year.
Davis went from flanker to split end — both outside receiver positions, but on opposite sides of the field.
“It was different,” he said, “but I had to learn the position and learn the routes and get better every day at practice so when it came to the game it would translate.”
