Davis Webb’s status for Saturday’s game against Texas is uncertain.
The Red Raiders quarterback injured his left ankle in the third quarter of last Saturday’s game at TCU after Horned Frogs defensive end Mike Tuaua landed on his leg. Webb left the field on crutches, with his shoe and sock off, minutes later.
During media availability Monday, Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury didn’t have an update on Webb’s health, saying he wanted to see Webb practice Monday afternoon. Tech provided no update after Monday’s practice, and Webb didn’t address the media.
