Starting Texas Tech offensive lineman Baylen Brown was reportedly on crutches during Tuesday’s practice because of a calf injury, but the team is hopeful for his availability against Arkansas on Sunday.
Don Williams of the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal reported that Brown was on crutches to keep weight off his leg.
“He should be ready Saturday, but we’re going to do what’s good,” offensive line coach Lee Hays told reporters. “If we need to keep him off another day or two, we will.”
