Kliff Kingsbury: Watching Arkansas-Texas Tech film wasn’t pretty; players were ‘embarrassed’

Texas Tech did not have its weekly media availability with coach Kingsbury and selected players because of its bye, but Kingsbury spoke with media Monday during the Big 12 coaches teleconference.

His comments came two days after the Red Raiders lost to Arkansas, 49-28, to close out the non-conference portion of their schedule.

Here is the full transcription of Kingsbury’s answers:

On how much of the inconsistencies on offense are not everyone being on the same page, such as receivers and offensive line:

Kingsbury: ”A little bit of everything. We have some young receivers that have only started three games. Talented but young and still wide-eyed and need to grow up fast. I think you see our guys that have played — Jakeem Grant, Bradley Marquez, DeAndre Washington — are making a bunch of plays for us, and some of those other guys have got to come on.”
