For almost any coach who gets into the College Football Hall of Fame, the recognition serves as a crowning achievement at the end of a distinguished career.
Jerry Moore’s not so willing to let it go at that.
Never mind that the former Texas Tech head coach is 75 years old. He’d love to be on someone’s sideline this weekend, doing what he’s done since 1965. He’d be there still had not school officials at Appalachian State forced him to step aside in December 2012, after his 23rd winning season in 24 years at the school.
