Texas Tech Red Raiders Football 2023 Schedule, Results
The Texas Tech Red Raiders will play six home games and six road games as they play out the 2023 football season.
The Red Raiders will open the season on the road with a trip to Wyoming on Sept. 2. After that, the Red Raiders will host Oregon on Sept. 9 and Tarleton State on Sept. 16 to wrap up non-conference action.
Texas Tech then travels to West Virginia to open up Big 12 play on Sept. 23 before returning home for its Big 12 home opener against Houston on Sept. 30.
The Red Raiders will play four home games and five road games in Big 12 action. Along with Houston, the Red Raiders will host Kansas State, TCU and UCF.
Along with West Virginia, the Red Raiders will travel to Baylor, BYU, Kansas and Texas.
The Red Raiders will play three of the Big 12’s new members this season. BYU, Cincinnati, Houston and UCF join the league for the 2023 football season.
The Red Raiders will not play Cincinnati, Iowa State, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State this season.
Each Big 12 team will still play nine league games. But, this will be the first time since the 2010 season in which all Big 12 teams will not play each other.
The Big 12 Championship Game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 2, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, at a time to be announced.
