Sonny Dykes and the TCU Horned Frogs added a new name to the Class of 2025 with the commitment of three-star athlete Cameron Jamerson.

Jamerson, a 6-foot athlete from Texas, chose the Horned Frogs over offers from 16 different programs, including Houston, Kansas State, Louisville, Washington, and more.

Coming out of Shadow Creek High School in the Class of 2025, Jamerson is listed as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports index and the nation’s 1114th-ranked prospect. He also checks in as the 62nd-ranked athlete in his class and the 115th-ranked player in the state of Texas.

“It was turnt in there, I’m not going to lie,” Jamerson told Horned Frog Blitz’s Jeremy Clark. “I was talking to Coach Dykes when I did it, and he got excited, Coach Buck got excited, and they went out and told everybody else. It was a real surreal moment just knowing all the hard work paid off and just getting to that moment and feeling how I felt. Me and my family being there and knowing all the sacrifices they made for me, it just made me feel good.”

With his commitment, Jamerson became the Horned Frogs’ 19th addition in the Class of 2025, joining a group that currently checks in as the nation’s 13th-best unit.

The Texas native finished his thoughts by saying, “It means a lot. We’re coming in to make TCU great. They were already great, but we’re going to make them greater.”
