UCF Knights Football 2023 Schedule, Results

The UCF Knights will play six home games and six road games as they play their first season of Big 12 football in 2023.

The Knights are one of four teams that are joining the Big 12 in 2023, along with BYU, Cincinnati and Houston.

 

The Knights will open the season at home against Kent State on Aug. 31. After a road trip to face Boise State on Sept. 9, the Knights wrap up non-conference with a home game against Villanova on Sept. 16.

The Knights open Big 12 action on the road on Sept. 23 against Kansas State, and then return home for their Big 12 home opener against Baylor on Sept. 30.

The Knights will play four home games and five road games in Big 12 action. Along with Baylor, the Knights will host West Virginia, Oklahoma State and Houston.

Along with Kansas State, the Knights will travel to Kansas, Oklahoma, Cincinnati and Texas.

The Knights will play two other new members in Big 12 action — Cincinnati and Houston. UCF will not play BYU.

The Knights will not play BYU, Iowa State, TCU and Texas this season.

Each Big 12 team will still play nine league games. But, this will be the first time since the 2010 season in which all Big 12 teams will not play each other.

The Big 12 Championship Game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 2, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, at a time to be announced.
