Oklahoma State had just beaten Texas Tech on Thursday night and running back Desmond Roland sat in the postgame interview room to answer questions. First up, an evaluation of his offensive line.
“They did a much better job,” Roland said. “Much more aggressive and they knew what they (were) doing on the field. That started from the very first play of the game.”
But when asked Monday, OSU coach Mike Gundy wasn’t so quick to compliment.
“I would say that’s a stretch,” Gundy said. “Des was probably being nice.”
Ouch.
