As Oklahoma State prepares to take on a TCU offense that’s averaging more than 500 yards per game, Cowboy coach Mike Gundy has placed an emphasis on a core football value — tackling.
“It goes right back to Vince Lombardifrom Day 1,” Gundy said Monday on SiriusXM College Sports Nation radio with hosts Jack Arute and Gino Torretta.
Although Gundy has been outspoken about keeping players fresh amid little team depth, he said that tackling drills will continue to be a necessity.
