Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy would not discuss the specifics of starting quarterback J.W. Walsh’s right foot injury or the timetable for his return during a press conference Monday.
But Gundy did say his medical staff had encouraging news about Walsh’s early diagnosis.
“I do know from the information that I got today at noon, that it’s not as severe as what was originally thought,” Gundy said. “So that’s good news. To what extent? We won’t know. So we’ll just move forward from there.”
