Curry Sexton caught nine passes for a career-high 159 yards and a touchdown during Kansas State’s 48-14 victory over Oklahoma State on Saturday. It was an effort filled with highlights, including a tight-rope grab on the sideline and a diving catch in the end zone.
Not to be outdone, Tyler Lockett caught six passes for 94 yards. His big game included a somersault catch and a nasty double move that faked out the Cowboys’ entire secondary.
It was hard to say who had the better game. Even Sexton and Lockett were torn on the subject as they discussed it afterward.
“He thought my catch in the end zone was better,” Sexton said. “I said, ‘No way.’”
“We go out there and have fun,” Lockett added. “He talks about my crazy catch. Then I tell him that was a great catch he had.”
