KFOR.com is reporting that Oklahoma State quarterback J.W. Walsh underwent surgery Thursday and is expected to miss 6-8 weeks.
Walsh injured his right foot/lower leg in the first quarter Sept. 6 against Missouri State. He left the game before eventually returning to the sideline on crutches.
