Kansas State’s Wildcat NIL Collective Doubles Total Donors in One Month

NCAA Basketball: Kansas at Kansas State

In the age of NIL Collectives continuing to allocate resources toward supporting student-athletes, coaches, and more, one collective in the Big 12 Conference has seen a massive increase in the month of March.

Kansas State‘s Wildcat NIL has more than doubled its amount of monthly donors in the last month thanks to a new initiative called the Spring On the Cats campaign.

In a recent tweet from the collective, Wildcat NIL announced that they had 340 members at the start of the Spring On the Cats campaign. After a busy month that featured storylines like Jerome Tang remaining at Kansas State and All-American center Ayoka Lee returning for her final year of eligibility, Wildcat NIL’s numbers more than doubled.

The campaign featured a tier system where a large donation would be unlocked for each milestone the collective crossed. The group unlocked a $100,000 donation upon crossing the 500-member mark, and shortly after, they earned a $500,000 donation for crossing 750 active donors, which was received on Monday, April 8th.

As NIL continues to grow at the forefront of college athletics, programs like Kansas State are embracing the movement through the growth of Wildcat NIL.
