With the Big 12 Conference expected to field some of the nation’s top basketball teams once again in 2024-25, some recent odds from BetOnline listed two Big 12 teams among the nation’s best.
Kansas and Houston were both awarded top-five odds to win a National Championship in 2025, with Kansas listed with the third-best odds and Houston with the fifth-best odds.
Kansas and Houston have earned tremendous praise this offseason and have consistently shown up inside the top 10 among most major preseason rankings lists. Other teams from the Big 12 Conference that have had some buzz regarding winning it all have included Baylor, Iowa State, and Arizona.
