Shedeur Sanders Posts Merch Shop Links During Halftime Before Blowing 29-Point Lead
Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes had a tough night on Friday after blowing a 29-point lead against the Stanford Cardinal.
To make things worse for Buffaloes fans, Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders was seen posting links to his merch shop on Instagram during halftime after heading into the locker room with a 29-0 lead.
While it is possible that Sanders could have scheduled the post to go live during the halftime break, the loss for the Buffaloes resulted in a tough look for Shedeur Sanders.
The Buffaloes entered the halftime break with a 99.7% chance of winning before witnessing Stanford quarterback Ashton Daniels spark a 36-point second half to extend the game to overtime. Stanford continued to fight against their Pac-12 counterpart and ended up finishing the game in Double OT to earn a 46-43 win in Week 7.
While Shedeur Sanders was impressive on Friday and finished off the game with 400 passing yards and five scores through the air, the halftime merch store post was certainly a bold strategy.
Colorado takes on the 18th-ranked UCLA Bruins in Week 8 on Saturday, October 8th. The Buffaloes close out their season with four of their last five opponents being ranked in the Top 25.
