Top 10 2025 QB Antwann Hill Jr. Decommits from Colorado

NCAA Football: Arizona at Colorado

While the Colorado Buffaloes have already landed some big names in the Class of 2025, one player headed elsewhere is four-star quarterback Antwaan Hill Jr.

Hill originally committed to join Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes back in October, but after rethinking his decision, Hill elected to decommit from CU and re-open his recruitment.

Hill is listed as a four-star prospect by the 247Sports index and currently checks in as the nation’s 59th-ranked player. He also is listed as the fifth-ranked quarterback in the class of 2025 as well as the 10th-overall player in the state of Georgia.

Director of scouting David Ivins spoke on the Georgia native calling him, “A big-armed quarterback that has a chance to emerge as a true field general on Saturdays with his tools. Has operated primarily out of a spread attack at the prep level and continued to progress as both a passer and decision maker after first getting the starting nod as a freshman in one of the Peach State’s highest classifications.”

The loss for the Buffaloes is a big one as Hill’s commitment brought in a new quarterback capable of replacing the loss of Shedeur Sanders after his eventual departure for the NFL. Sanders and the Buffaloes enter the offseason with a move to the Big 12 Conference set to take place in the summer of 2024.
