Cincinnati Guard Mika Adams-Woods Enters Transfer Portal
The Cincinnati Bearcats are losing a key member of Wes Miller’s squad with senior guard Mika Adams-Woods entering the transfer portal.
The New York native averaged 9.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game last season. After earning his degree in May 2023, the Cincinnati transfer hits the portal with over 100 games played with the Bearcats and one year of eligibility remaining.
Coming out of high school, Woods was graded as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports index, as well as being listed as the 232nd-ranked combo guard in the nation. Adams-Woods’ biggest game of the season came back on March 10th against Temple where he scored 20 points, with five assists, and three rebounds on the day.
After a late push last season from the Cincinnati Bearcats to make the 2023 NCAA Tournament, they ultimately missed out, as their spot was taken by the Memphis Tigers.
Mika Adams-Woods is just 45 points shy of joining the 1,000-point club in his career and while it’s uncertain of where he may end up, there are still several guard-needy teams in the Big 12 Conference.
