Class of 2025 four-star prospect Azavier Robinson narrowed his list of schools down to five with the Cincinnati Bearcats making the final cut, per On3’s Joe Tipton.

Along with the Bearcats, Robinson is considering Butler, DePaul, Notre Dame, and Xavier and has planned official visits to all of those schools in September.

The 6-foot-1 point guard is ranked as the No. 90 overall prospect in his class, and the 18th ranked shooting guard, per 247Sports.

Robinson talked about his recruitment with On3 and said, “I want to feel comfortable around my teammates and my coaches, so that would be the main thing. I’m most comfortable playing in a fast-paced system that picks up full-court on defense.”

The rising senior averaged 19.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists during his junior campaign with Lawrence North High School in Indiana.

The Cincinnati Bearcats just completed their first season competing in the Big 12 Conference and went 22-15 with statement wins over No. 16 Kansas, No. 15 Texas Tech, and No. 12 BYU.

Several key players from last season’s squad will return to UC in 2024-25 including guards Dan Skillings Jr., Day Day Thomas, and Simas Lukosius, while also bringing in transfer forward Dillon Mitchell (Texas).
