Bijan Robinson Reacts to Being Selected by Dallas Cowboys in Mel Kiper’s Mock Draft
Former Texas Longhorn running back Bijon Robinson was a man amongst boys in his college career. Robinson looks to continue that trend at the professional level where he is currently projected as a first-round draft pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
After the release of Mel Kiper’s 1.0 NFL Mock Draft was released slotting Robinson to the hometown Dallas Cowboys, Robinson was nothing but smiles.
You can see Robinson’s reaction below.
Robinson played it cool after a big smile saying, “it’s wherever God has me, wherever God places me that’s where I’ll be at.”
Cowboys fans would absolutely love the pick with the potential of running back Ezekiel Elliot leaving in free agency resulting in a backfield of Tony Pollard and Bijan Robinson.
Robinson ran for a total of 3,410 yards on 539 carries in his career averaging 6.3 YPC, while adding 33 touchdowns through his time in Arlington. Robinson also has the ability to be effective in the passing game adding 805 receiving yards and eight scores to his numbers out of the backfield.
While it’s no guarantee that Robinson ends up in Dallas, both Longhorn fans and Cowboy fans alike have to love Kiper’s selection.
