Baylor and TCU have played 109 times since their first meeting in 1899, and have split the series straight down the middle.
Rivalries don’t get more hotly contested than 51-51-7.
But for the first time, the No. 5 Bears and No. 9 Horned Frogs will both be nationally ranked when they meet Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at McLane Stadium in a game that will be televised on ABC.
It will be the first meeting between two top 10 teams in Waco since 1956 when the No. 8 Bears lost to No. 7 Texas A&M.
