It had been 58 years since the last matchup of top 10 teams in Waco, but it was worth the wait.
Storming back from a 21-point fourth-quarter deficit, No. 5 Baylor stunned No. 9 TCU when freshman Chris Callahan hit a 28-yard field goal with no time remaining for a remarkable 61-58 win Saturday afternoon.
Callahan’s fourth field goal of the game gave the Bears a 6-0 overall record and a 3-0 Big 12 mark while TCU fell to 5-1 and 1-1.
After Callahan’s kick, fans stormed the field in a massive celebration. It tied Baylor’s largest comeback in school history and was the program’s largest fourth-quarter comeback.
