After Saturday’s flag fest at West Virginia, Baylor has become the most penalized team in college football.
That’s what a Big 12- record 215 penalty yards will do.
Following their 18 penalties in the 41-27 loss to the Mountaineers, the No. 12 Bears have been penalized a nation’s-high 76 times in seven games this season. Baylor’s 104.57 penalty yards per game are also the most in the country.
Cutting down on penalties will be a focus for the Bears in their final five games. Baylor has a bye this weekend before returning to action with the Nov. 1 homecoming game against Kansas at McLane Stadium.
