Baylor received a verbal commitment from Houston Lamar’s J.W. Ketchum on Sunday, giving the Bears 13 commitments in the 2015 class.
Ketchum is a 6-1, 190-pound dual-threat quarterback, but he’s expected to play wide receiver or cornerback for Baylor. He’s a four-star recruit by Rivals.com.
“Baylor is a good program and they win a lot, so I thought, ‘Why not?’ ” Ketchum said. “I’ve developed a good relationship with Coach (Kendal) Briles. I think I can play wide receiver or cornerback for Baylor.”
