Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops had no update Monday on the status of wide receiver Sterling Shepard, who suffered an apparent groin injury after hauling in a 46-yard reception on the Sooners’ first offensive snap of the game last weekend at Iowa State.
“It appeared to be pretty minor yesterday,” Stoops said. “The best way I’d say now is we’re optimistic that it will heal enough that he’ll be full speed by the end of the week.”
