Baylor came out with five wide receivers and went right down the field with a series of short, quick passes that took advantage of Oklahoma’s defensive backs playing well off the line of scrimmage.
None of the nine consecutive complete passes that started the drive went for more than 13 yards.
After the eighth consecutive pass completion on the drive, boos started raining down from the sold out crowd at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. After the ninth, they intensified.
Mike Stoops’ defense seemed helpless to slow down Bryce Petty and the Bears.
