Jazzy Davidson, a five-star recruit in the Class of 2025, has narrowed her final list to six schools: TCU, USC, UCLA, Duke, Connecticut, and Texas, per Dushawn London.
ESPN ranks the 6-foot-1 point guard as the No. 3 overall prospect in her class and the second-best point guard.
Davidson told London, “I have a top-6 now, so I’m pretty far along. I’m just focused on scheduling official visits right now.”
She also told 247Sports that she plans to announce her commitment sometime in the Spring. The rising senior will play out her high school basketball career with Clackamas High School in Oregon.
The Horned Frogs finished the 2023-24 season with an overall record of 21-12, placing ninth in the Big 12 Conference.
TCU was led by forward Sedona Prince, who averaged 19.7 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game last season. The 6-foot-7 forward was efficient from the field, knocking down 55.2% of her shots.
Point guard Madison Conner also had a very strong season, posting 19.2 points and 4.7 rebounds per contest. The team picked up impressive victories over Nebraska, BYU, and Texas Tech, but its season came to an end in the second round of the WBIT in a loss to Mississippi State.
