Spotting a rookie with an incredible season is truly a talent. Additionally, this might help you by scoring high NFL odds and placing early bets to get large profits, since nobody expects big things from young players who are just entering the league. On top of that, spotting talented rookies is also very important if you are a fantasy bettor.
But we’ve seen all the rookies and we know their skills and abilities. Of course, this doesn’t mean that they’ll have a successful career, but at least they have the right tools to climb to the top of the league.

Caleb Williams – Chicago Bears
If you are a fan of the Bears, then you already know the name Caleb Williams and his abilities. He also had a quite good debut game, where he completed 4 out of 7 passes for 95 yards, and also added a 13-yard scramble for good measure.
We are definitely talking about a kid that has the potential to become one of the greats.
Jayden Daniels – Washington Commanders
Jayden Daniels is another name that has been popping up in the NFL league and for all the right reasons. We are talking about a very talented quarterback who many experts say is going to reach a high level.
In just one drive, he managed to rack up 48 yards and capped with three-yard rushing touchdowns.
So, definitely keep him on the watchlist.
Running Backs: The Workhorses to Watch
Bijan Robinson – Atlanta Falcons
Running backs often face immense pressure to perform right out of the gate, and Bijan Robinson is no exception. The Falcons invested heavily in this Texas product, and for good reason. Robinson was an absolute beast in college, tallying over 3,410 rushing yards and 33 touchdowns.
His ability to break tackles and find seams in the defense could make him a household name by mid-season. Keep an eye on his usage—he’s the type of back who can turn any play into a highlight reel.
Jahmyr Gibbs – Detroit Lions
Jahmyr Gibbs is another running back to circle in your fantasy draft. The Lions grabbed him early in the draft, and he’s expected to be a significant part of their offense. Gibbs isn’t just a ground-and-pound type; he’s got the versatility to catch passes out of the backfield, making him a dual threat that defenses will hate to scheme against.
The only trouble is that we just got the news that he is injured. Although it is a small hamstring injury, we still don’t know how soon will he recover and whether or not this injury will have an impact on his performance this season.

Marvin Harrison Jr. – Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals are in a bit of a rebuild, but Marvin Harrison Jr. might just be the spark they need. Harrison was electric at Ohio State, where he racked up 1,263 yards and 13 touchdowns in his junior year. He’s got size, speed, and hands as reliable as they come. Arizona’s QB situation is still murky, but if they can get Harrison the ball, watch out.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba – Seattle Seahawks
Don’t sleep on Jaxon Smith-Njigba. The Seahawks found a gem in this Ohio State alum, who’s known for his incredible route running and after-the-catch ability. Seattle’s receiving corps is already strong, and Smith-Njigba’s addition could make them downright lethal. He’s a rookie who might not just be good—he could be great.
Defensive Players: The Future of Fearsome
Will Anderson Jr. – Houston Texans
On the defensive side, Will Anderson Jr. is a name that should scare opposing offenses. The Texans picked him up to be their new defensive anchor, and he’s shown all the signs of being just that.
Anderson dominated in college, leading the nation in tackles for loss and sacks during his sophomore season. He’s quick off the edge, strong, and has a relentless motor. Look for him to disrupt QBs from day one.
Christian Gonzalez – New England Patriots
Bill Belichick knows a thing or two about defense, and he might have found his next star in Christian Gonzalez.
The rookie cornerback has the size (6’2”) and speed (4.38 in the 40-yard dash) to match up with any wide receiver in the league. He’s already turning heads in camp with his ability to lock down top receivers. If you’re a Patriots fan, Gonzalez might just be your next favorite player.
Tight Ends: The Under-the-Radar Game Changers
Dalton Kincaid – Buffalo Bills
Buffalo has been looking for that next great tight end, and they might have found him in Dalton Kincaid. He’s already shown excellent chemistry with Josh Allen during training camp.
Kincaid’s athleticism and ability to make tough catches in traffic could make him a red-zone monster. Tight ends often take time to develop, but don’t be surprised if Kincaid makes an impact sooner rather than later.
Michael Mayer – Las Vegas Raiders
Michael Mayer has the potential to be the next big thing in Las Vegas. With the Raiders’ offense in need of reliable targets, Mayer could quickly become a favorite for whoever is under center. His college career at Notre Dame was stellar, and he brings a physicality that will serve him well in the pros. Raider Nation should be excited to see what Mayer brings to the table.
