2026 four-star ATH Dequane Prevo announced his final five cutdown list on Tuesday and is set to announce his college decision on Tuesday, July 30th.
Prevo, a 5-foot-10 prospect from Texas, is choosing his future program out of USC, Arkansas, Penn State, Texas A&M, and Baylor.
Coming out of Liberty-Eylau in the Class of 2026, Prevo is listed as a four-star prospect by the 247Sports index and the nation’s 216th-ranked player. He also checks in as the 16th-ranked player at his position and the 30th-ranked player in the state of Texas.
An impressive player in his class, Prevo received offers from 25 different programs, including Oregon, Texas, USC, Penn State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Florida State, Baylor, Houston, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, UCF, and more.
The Bears have been on a stellar recruiting hot streak lately, landing four-star top-100 player Kamauryn Morgan and four-star top-300 player Taz Williams Jr. in the last two weeks. With his commitment to Baylor, Prevo would become the Bears’ second addition in the Class of 2026, joining four-star running back Davis Penn in heading to Waco.
The Texas native will make his decision on Tuesday, July 30th.
