On3’s Director of Recruiting, Chad Simmons, predicts the Baylor Bears will land 2025 four-star running back Michael Turner.
This past weekend, the 5-foot-11 running back trimmed his final list of schools down to six, including Baylor, Oklahoma State, SMU, TCU, Utah, and Washington, per On3.
On3 ranks Turner as the 82nd overall prospect in the 2025 cycle and the fifth-best running back.
If Turner chooses the Bears, he will become head coach Dave Aranda’s fourth four-star prospect from his class to commit to BU, joining wide receivers Jacorey Watson and Taz Williams Jr., as well as edge rusher Kamauryn Morgan.
In regards to his decision, Turner told Simmons, “I am done with the visits for the summer and just trying to let it all play out. It is a hard decision because I am chill with all six schools on my list.”
The Texas native plans to make his decision sometime this summer, heading into his senior season at Richland High School.
Baylor is coming off a rough season in 2023, finishing 3-9, which placed the Bears 12th in the Big 12 Conference. However, the team will have an opportunity to bounce back in its 2024 season opener against Tarleton State on Saturday, Aug. 31, at 7 p.m. EST.
