In a recent interview with On3’s Andy Staples, Christian McLeod and Ben Haumiller of EA Sports discussed what aspects of the upcoming College Football 25 video game release make the game so special.
The duo mentioned countless hours dedicated to perfecting the look of each stadium, tradition, and other campus exclusives in order to satisfy their core of college football fans.
“Super important,” McLeod said. “We came back, and that was our core pillar. How do we satisfy the core? It had to look right. It had to feel right. The gameplay had to be rooted in authenticity. There are 134 ways to play, as Scott talked about earlier today, so that was our core, especially in Year 1. As we’re building this foundation and we’re bringing it back from where we were 10 years ago, we had to hit on that.”
EA Sports College Football 25 will be released on Xbox and PlayStation on July 19th, 2024, and will hit the game store as the first release in the series since NCAA Football 14. College football fans worldwide have been begging for information on the game, and as the July release date continues to approach, more and more features are being revealed about it.
While fans still have to wait around six weeks to get their hands on the new game, the amount of effort, dedication, and hard work put into developing EA Sports College Football 25 has a chance to earn the game a place in memory banks of fans everywhere for years to come.
