Watch: Chick-Fil-A Announced as Official Chicken Sandwich of West Virginia Athletics
The West Virginia Mountaineers have officially landed a new sponsor. WVU Sports announced via Twitter that the Chick-Fil-A Chicken Sandwich is now the Official Sandwich of West Virginia Athletics.
Whether there will be a bunch of number 1 combo’s on the sideline when WVU takes on KU this Saturday is still up in the air, but I’d like to think it’ll make for a great pre-game meal.

Appearing in the video are Head Football Coach Neal Brown, Men’s Basketball Head Coach Bob Huggins, play-by-play Announcer Tony Caridi and an assortment of other coaches and staff members associated with the Mountaineers.
West Virginia is coming off of a hard-fought game in the Backyard Brawl against Pitt to open up their 2022 season, but has hopes of turning things around in Week 2.
West Virginia welcomes the Kansas Jayhawks to Morgantown on Saturday, with kickoff slated for 5:00 p.m. CT. As 13.5-point favorites, they have hopes of making fans of WVU, and Chick-Fil-A proud by opening up Big 12 play with a win.
