On Sep. 12, five-star Class of 2025 guard Isiah Harwell will announce his college decision, with the Houston Cougars making his final list of four schools, per Joe Tipton.

California, Gonzaga, and Texas are the other schools Harwell is considering after eliminating Alabama, Baylor, Idaho State, North Carolina, and Texas, via On3.

On3 also ranks the 6-foot-5 shooting guard as the No. 7 overall prospect in his class, and the third best shooting guard.

Harwell previously visited Gonzaga and Houston and has a visit set with the California Golden Bears in late June, before finishing his high school basketball career with Wasatch Academy located in Utah.

Houston still has no official commitments in the 2025 cycle, but is coming off a strong 2023-24 season competing in the Big 12 Conference, finishing with an overall record of 32-5 before losing to Duke in the Sweet 16.

All-American point guard Jamal Shead entered the 2024 NBA Draft after a strong senior campaign, as he averaged 12.9 points and 6.3 assists per game.

Former Oklahoma Sooners guard Milos Uzan transferred to the Cougars this Spring after posting 9 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per outing during his sophomore year with OU.
