The Arizona State men’s basketball team will play against the Santa Clara Broncos in Las Vegas on November 8, per Jon Rothstein.
A specific time and venue for the game have not been announced yet; however, UCLA and New Mexico will also play in the doubleheader.
The Sun Devils will compete in the Big 12 Conference this upcoming season after leaving the Pac 12.
After a disappointing 14-18 record in 2023-24, head coach Bobby Hurley has improved its roster, securing the commitments from five-star center Jayden Quaintance, along with four-star recruits Joson Sanon and Amier Ali. Three-star shooting guard Bo Aldridge also signed with the team.
Last season, point guard Frankie Collins led Arizona State with season averages of 13.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game.
On the other hand, Santa Clara is coming off an impressive 2023-24 campaign, as the squad finished fourth in the West Coast Conference with a record of 20-13, highlighted by wins over No. 23 Gonzaga and Washington State.
Hurley is entering his 10th season as head coach with a record of 155-131 and is looking to bring the team back to the NCAA Tournament for the second time in three seasons.
